Subject: Cadastral Framework Project minutes from 06/15/99
Dear Partners:
I am just returning from the NILS meeting and a short vacation, and it's good to be back. Thanks go to Carrie Wolfe for covering in my absence and putting together the minutes for the general partnership meeting in June (attached). Also attached are some of the handouts that were distributed for discussion including the current project status, a brief on the NILS Parcel Consortium, a revision of the partnership agreement that references the data transfer standard as an attachment, the data transfer standard, the point, boundary, legal area description and transaction format files, and an AML program that was used to convert BLM GCDB coverages into the transfer standard. I have not included the framework database physical model, or a plot showing a combination of BLM, DNR, and Snohomish County legal area descriptions, boundary lines, and corner points in T30NR10E.
Attendance at the meeting was low. Would you like to have a video conference parallel to the WAGIC and Framework Management Group meetings in August?
Also, I am considering getting an extension for the project grant to allow more time to collect matching in-kind services and funds, and to allow for time being spent on the NILS Parcel Consortium. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about the project.
Thanks,
Greg
