Here you will find information about geospatial data, products and services available in Washington state.

Important Announcements:

  • Washington's FOIA legislation basically says that if government funds paid for data to be developed, then it's public information -- notwithstanding critical infrastructure, PID or FOIA exemptions.

  • The Orthoimagery Imagery Data Viewer has been retired. Links to replacement tools and data sources are available here.

The Geospatial Portal is a shared enterprise service that handles location based data and services. It provides governmental entities and the public access to commonly used information, data resources and web based services from a single environment.

The ​​Washington Master Addressing Services (WAMAS) are available to state, local, and tribal governments. Entities outside of the State Government Network (SGN) can request access using this form.   • WA Geospatial Clearinghouse - provides access to the state's extensive metadata catalog.

  • WA State Data Catalog - contains metadata links for each geospatial file maintained by state agencies.

  • National GIS Inventory (NSGIC) - contains metadata from multiple state clearinghouses and pushes to data.gov

  • National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP) imagery metadata - 2006 | 2009 | 2011 | 2012
