Surdex (Surdex, the vendor for the NAIP 2006 project, is listed as a contributor because of their willingness to test a model where the processing and delivery of orthoimagery was shared between a private vendor and organizations who comprised the 2006 NAIP Planning Committee. This shared production model avoided/reduced costs to partnering agencies. Funding and accomplishing this project would not have been possible with this innovative model and the willingness of Surdex staff.)
