Orthoimagery
of the state of Washington
This orthoimagery
of Washington was prepared from aerial photographs and other data, creating
the same metric properties and uniform scale as a map. Washington State
agencies can build on this foundation by adding their own detail, by
compiling other value-added data sets and information.

NAIP, a cooperative program between federal agencies, provides orthoimagery
of agricultural lands. The major product of this program is 1-meter
resolution orthoimagery that is produced and provided to crop compliance
field staff.
NAIP plans to fly
the state of Washington in 2009 and produce statewide coverage if organizations
within the state agree to participate and provide additional funding.
